  1. There story telling was as good as a award winning movie script. For a documentary chanced being boring , and yet came out quite entertaining. Backtracking events , enhanced the narrative. And the real life participants on their voice overs was just the icing on the cake. The footage seemed a bit worn, but again, back then there was no 4K cameras and enhanced editing software unless you paid through the nose to get AVID stuff. Please keep on churning stuff out of your library, nowithstabding the low click counts. It matters a lot, specially with such compromised quality editorial.

  4. The top soil might be just great for pineapple growers. As it is for Azorean ( Portuguese Islands on the Atlantic ) growers. But once you sample the Azorean ones, there is no comparision. Heads above the competition. Same volcanic top soil, and with a twist. Grown over a year in greenhouses. Sweet as a honey dew. Dole, eat your heart out.

  7. Detroit, saving for Flint , is on a comeback trail. Water issues will take ages to sort. Not much one can control. The rest of it ( homelessness , drug addiction , taxing the golden goose , criminal cartels , lack of affordable housing ) well , sometimes it needs to get worse before drastic measures are brought in. It is just how it works. Califórnia became a victim of its own success , and a lot of things were taken for granted. As matter of fact, the whole sunbelt is suffering from excessive migration. What goes in California may as well happen at other states. Some people Will get the memo . In North Carolina , there is this town , Cary. The local quip is that C.A.R .Y. stands for …Central Area for Relocating Yankees. It so became a magnet for the Northeast snowbirds , because people would bolt for Florida , only to realize Flórida wasn’t all they thought it would be. These arrivals would be called Half Backs , as they head South and made their trip back Half way towards North. That is part of the deal with California. It became the end destination for too many Eldorado seekers. Eventually it had to deal with its own reckoning.
