@agranero6 You are right in that such incidents do indeed occur more frequently. But it is the fact that there have been two such incidents involving the same ship within a short period of time of only several hours. THAT is why officials in Finland, Lithuania and Germany are talking about sabotage. And I am sure that there are other insights that flow into these assessments that neither you nor I know about. And besides, it is not the assessment of hobby detectives as you call it, but the assessments of the defense ministries of the various countries. And since I live in one of those countries, I am well aware of what the official statement from my Minister of Defense means. And this video here reflects these official views very accurately. So it is you who is wrong in his conclusions here.

@agranero6 Again...no, I did not refuse to read your comment...that there have been other such incidents is merely anecdotal evidence and is not relevant here...I am quoting my Minister of Defense...'We have to conclude that it is a hybrid action...and we also have to assume that it is sabotage'...and it is not a single incident either...two different cables were severed...in very different locations and many hours between each incident...I would now simply claim that my Minister of Defence and the Foreign Ministers of Finland and Lithuania have a better knowledge of the situation than you do. But of course I could be wrong...then you should definitely make your evidenz available to our Ministry of Defense.

@agranero6 Again...just because another incident was accidental does not mean it was the same in this case. I have presented you the facts of THIS case including the official statements of our defense minister to THIS incidents. But you keep talking about other incidents. In the case of a bank robbery, the police does not say 'Well...money is withdrawn from banks every day, so it will probably be the same here.'...so unless you have verifiable information about THIS case, your anecdotal evidence about other cases is completely meaningless.

@kimduong2332 He presented evidence. They identified the ship absolut precisely, searched and confiscated it. The authorities of Finland, Lithuania and Germany are working togdther here. But of course China can continue to play the innocent. That is what they always do when they got caught doing something illegal abroad.

@kimduong2332 The exact time when the cables were cut is known...the first cable between Sweden and Lithuania was cut on the 17th November (I believe 2 am) the second cable between Finland and Germany was cut on the 18th November (I believe at 8am)...no other ship than the 'Yi Peng 3' was in these locations at that time.

@kimduong2332 The ship could be precisely be identified as being at each location exactly at the time of the two incidents. At that time there were no other ships in these locations or their immediate surroundings. Since the cables are shown on all nautical charts, it is assumed that the ship's anchor was deliberately used to damage or cut the cables. That was exactly the reason why it was stopped and confiscated. I do not know what was discovered during the search of the ship. Since the incidents are still being investigated, it will certainly take time before the full results of the investigation are presented.

@kimduong2332 Riiigght...the poor and always innocent Chinese are again wrongly accused...it is like their secret police stations in other countries...or the countless cases of economic and industrial espionage...or the surveillance and the forced repatriation of critics of the CCP...or the ongoing human rights violations against the Uighurs...none of this is true...no matter how much evidence there is for all of this...we simply claim that we are innocent...I am sure you will get some points added to your social credit score

@kimduong2332 That is just pure nonsense...but expected nothing less from a keyboard warrior.

@tiefblau2780 Nevertheless, China should be held accountable...or the Russians, if it turns out that they were involved in this act. China should not be surprised if they begin to isolate themselves in global politics. This is reflected in the fact that increasingly only authoritarian regimes are engaging with China. At the same time, the Chinese are supporting the Russians in their warcof aggression. This will also be punished somehow. The same applies for illegal Chinese police stations around the world. And because you mentioned human lives...the oppression and ongoing human rights violations against the Uyghurs should also be punished. It is time for the Chinese leadership to be confronted with the consewuences of its actions.
