In my country, farmers and livestock breeders only have to protect themselves from deer and wolves. In China, however, they have to protect themselves from people over 60 years of age. I have honestly never seen anything like this in a developed country. But nothing that three or four Kangals would not fix.

@Ninnjette- You should never draw conclusions about the bigger picture from individual incidents. There are about 350 million people living in the US and ideally, the same rights and the same law aply to everyone. Even if you give me 50 nsmes...it would still be marginal for this enormous number of people. And why are you even mentioning that name? The state has charged the accused and he is currently on trial for homicide.

@Ninnjette- I am part of the problem? As a German, I would disagree. I watch from a distance as millions of Americans kneel before an 78 year old criminal who goes to the tanning salon every day and who lies as much as he breathes. And he is running away from justice for a few decades. It seems to me that the system has failed there as well. Of course, every justice system has its weaknesses and no system is perfect. There are similar cases in my country as well...but to conclude from these cases that the whole system is broken is nonsense. You must not forget that there is a big difference between the principle 'laws apply to everyone' and how it is ultimately applied in each case.
