@aliwvsa And what exactly are the achievements of China in the past 50 years? What exactly has China achieved that other industrialized nations have not? In science...in medicine...in art...in military developments...in aerospace...in computers and microelectronics...in human rights....in environmental protection....just name a few achievements.

@Blixey-r9z Russian design bureaus have a storied history? And that is exactly where you are wrong. These were Soviet design bureaus and not Russian ones....there is a big difference. And how exactly do you know what the exact reason is for the poor quality of this jet?

@thecoin5394 Why are the F22 and the F35 not used in Ukraine? That is a complete nonsensical question...because Ukraine does not have these jets in its arsenal. And no one believes anymore that the Russians supposedly have one of the best air defense systems in the world. The fact that Ukraine is capable of flying attacks that reach several hundred kilometers into Russia eliminates your argument. And when it comes to the dhooting down of the F117, you only told half the truth.

@jmchng9662 That is it? A single satellite? Do you know when the Americans sent people to the moon and brought them back? Or when the Hubble telescope was launchend into space or its successor, the James Webb telescope? Or when the Americans flew a helicopter on Mars for the first time? Or when Voyager 1 and 2 were built, which now even left the solar system? Or since when has the ISS been in orbit? In recent months, there have been repeated reports and videos of Chinese booster rockets crashing in populated areas. You are welcome to read how many (or rather how few) Nobel Prizes China has received in the last 20 years. And a single satellite will not change that.

@MaboloLibwese No...the Soviet Union was a completely different state...today's Russia represents a substantially smaller part than the former Soviet Union. All of the Baltic States, including Ukraine, Georgia (and others) immediately broke away from the Soviet Union.
1
@MaboloLibwese And maybe you should read Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn's book 'Gulag Archipelago'...it describes quite precisely how Stalin and the later Soviet regime dealt with scientists who dared to criticize the Kremlin publicly...millions and millions of people died in the Gulags...scientists, artists, architects, biologists and geneticists, writers, economists...the Gulags were no different than the concentration camps of the Germans...and the fact that you do not even know that shows very clearly that you actually have no idea about this topic.
1
@MaboloLibwese This is not just one book...there is nw an entire library about the cruelties of the Stalin regime...these were not just a few scientists...tens of millions of people died in the Gulags. And under Mao, an estimated 50 to 60 million people died...no my friend...these dimensions were unprecedented in modern history...but only the Germans critically examined their history and drew appropriate lessons from it...something that did not even come close to happening in Russia or China...quite the opposite...there, these times and the people responsible for them are still revered and glorified to this day...and the fact that you just gloss over it shows me that you havd no idea about it at all

@LITTLEgiiant That is a whole new excuse...now the poor quality of Chinese things is due to the fact that they simply have no desire to produce quality products. You guys really always outdo yourselves with your excuses. There is a reason why nobody buys Chinese aircraft or Chinese weapon systems...or Chinese computer chips...or Chinese heavy machinery...or Chinese precision tools...or Chinese surgical devices...or Chinese aerospace technology

@thecoin5394 Äh...no...the attacks that Ukraine launched on Crimea over and over again, were carried out by cruise missiles...the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet and a third of the naval assets can report very well about this.
1
@thecoin5394 That sounds a bit different from what you said earlier. And wether Crimea is part of Russia or not is irrelevant in this matter. Furthermore, the attacks on Crimea were no saturation attacks...quite simply because Ukraine does not have too many of these cruise missiles. And to say that air defense focuses only on aircraft is not accurate either. Israel's Iron Dome is the best example. And of course there are weapon systems that are very effective against drones. My country has made several available to Ukraine. You can come up with one excuse after another...but the fact remains that the capabilities of Russian weapon systems are far below the capabilities claimed by people like you. Wether it is the SU57 Felon, the T14 Armata...or the S300 or S400.
