  1. Only 5%? Why not 15%...or 26%...reach for the stars!! During the Cold War, the Soviets also announced tremendous growth rates...year after year...when the Iron Curtain finally came down and brought some reality into these data, those in the West could not yet begin to imagine how incredibly dilapidated the entire economy in the entire Eastern Bloc had been. It will certainly be no different here...authoritarian regimes are dependent on such illusory figures...after all, you have to prove to the West that you are the superior system.
