  1. Sometimes I wonder how something like that can even be. The soldier there is as poor as anyone else. There are individuals who have managed to escape from NK and who talk about the catastrophic conditions there that permeate every area of life. Conditions there are even worse than in Orwells novel '1984'. A regime that only keeps Kim in power through coerced control, fear and the military. Everyone is starving and incredibly poor except, of course, the ruling caste. And Kim would like to have a submarine fleet and nuclear missiles. While the people did not even have buttons to tie their trousers, which had become far too big due to all the starvation.
