 @kamsunleong6648 But they outselling Apple ONLY in China. On a global scale, Chinese cellphone brands are far behind Samsung and Apple...and this is especially true for Huawei.

@jmchng9662 In 2023, Apple sold worldwide 235 million smartphones...Samsung sold 227 million phones...Xiaomi sold 145 million...Oppo sold 103 million...none of the Chinese brands can surpass the dominance of Apple or Samsung.

@jmchng9662 What does the Israeli operation have to do with cell phone sales? That is just nonsense. The point here is simply that Chinese cell phone brands cannot assert themselves on the global market. At least that is true for Huawei. And this despite the fact that this brand is massively supported by the Chinese state. But it is like all domestically produced Chinese products...they cannot hold their own in international comparison. Wether it is computer chips, civilian aircrafts, weapons, heavy machinery or precision tools...the Chinese are not internationally competitive in any of these products.

@Ace3258 Huawei phones are not banned in the EU...still, nobody wants to buy them. Maybe it is because nobody wants their data and information to be intercepted by the Chinese state.

@jmchng9662 Added together? That is not how it works my friend. In addition, Samsung and Apple do not receive government subsidies like all the Chinese brands.
