  1. Yes, of course children need clear, loving, sensible, consistent boundaries. They also need healthy child focused routines, they need child focused nurturing activities, healthy food, they need healthy values. And what do you mean broken homes? Single parents can do all of these things. Having two disfunctional parents is not better than having one highly functional one. Or two functioning parents who are not in a romantic relationship with eachother.
