I bet none of the commenters knows a thing about Israel beyond the Gaza war as reported by their local news channels.
Nothing about Tal law, nothing about the issues with the recruitment, ultra orthodox, and the money they get, nothing about the mass protesters BEFORE October 7th calling to remove Netanyahu
Nothing about all the corruption scandals and Netanyahu, nothing about the other candidates who are all impressive people, nothing about WHY ben gvir is an unacceptable person to even enter parliament, nothing about the fact that Netanyahu's party only got 27% of the vote twhen he got in,and since then his popularity plummeted before October 7th, and then went down more
Nothing about YHiR Netanyahu or pistachio ice cream and what that means
But here is one thing you can know.
Israel is a democracy.
And when a leader fails to be prepared for a massive attack on the country
And then for months on end fails to retrieve the hostages including a baby.
In a democracy, unlike Palestine, in a democracy, people are allowed to protest.
And unlike the riots in london, they are not calling to kill people (as in london they call to kill jews)
They are calling for an election and for better results and more competence against hamas (and not against gaza) and to bring back the hostages
