  1. Do we have proof that any of these actions help the environment? I can understand not dumping oil in the sea, or recycling instead of throwing plastic everywhere, because that clearly kills life, but how is importing oil and fuel helpful? It just uses more oil and fuel to ship it? And how does throwing water to the ocean instead of flowing into rivers which feed the ground help? If anything it causes fires, and stops farming (making food needing to be shipped using more fuel)
