It has been used before. In 2002 and 2007, President George W Bush placed his vice-president in charge when he was sedated during routine colonoscopies. President Ronald Reagan did the same in 1985 when he was in hospital for cancer surgery. But to date, no sitting president has ever been permanently removed using the 25th Amendment

The scary thing is that he has millions behind him. He got a lot of votes, those are the problem, when he goes, they stay.. the people that chose someone so hatful and violent. Something is so wrong with this world right now. People are so willing to hate others, there will always be power hungry evil men around, but now days, much like late 1930s and 1940s, millions of people vote for him and chose to follow him. They scare me. (And the fact that trump still has access to the army and nukes, that is terrifying too)

The problem is that millions voted for him, which means that millions think like him. This world is scary. Reminds me of 1939...

The problem with using the 25th amendment is that if it is used to take power from a physically able president (whom I strongly appose to) then it is a precedent to have it used again any time someone doesn't agree with a president. What he did and is doing is bad, but this is not making him unable, in fact, the problem he is able, and his intentions are bad. Calling an able person unable only because we don't agree with him, and using that argument to take power from him will open a door for having this be done to a president we do agree with. This is the wrong way to regain peace, we must find another way, another law, another path to peace, this path will come back to bite us.
