  1. Don't dare tell me that this isn't climate change at work. If it was an isolated incident, maybe that would be believable, but extremes like this are happening in Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, Texas, Florida, Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Germany, Spain, Greece, the Arctic, the UK, France and so on, and so on, with increasing severity and regularity every year. The planet's oceans can no longer absorb the excess heat trapped by CO2, and so heat over the oceans is destabilising the weather patterns, and the planet's thermoregulation. Earth has lost its ability to reach homeostasis, and is fluctuating wildly. We're not very smart at all.
