I remember every feeling she is talking about, even though transitioning was not a possibility when I was young. She makes the most sense of anyone I have ever heard on the topic of transgenderism. A fascinating young person.

I think the monetary value of one trans-identifying child is more than a $1,000,000 over a lifetime because of the constant cost of taking hormones, and ongoing health problems (like liver problems, urinary tract problems, osteoporosis and so on) in later life. Let alone counselling and psychology or, especially, psychiatry costs!

I remember that as a young teen and young adult I could not step on a crack, touch red pegs, and various other compulsions that I am unable to remember now. I also fasted for 3 weeks at a time on 3 apples day to try and stop breast development, which actually did stop them growing very big (which I've always been happy about). It was all brought on, I suspect, by a disgusting, sneaky neighbour who kissed me against my will (with his gross tongue!) when my father went inside to get him a cup of tea. As this lady says, it is extremely traumatising to suddenly be sexualised by grown men when one still is a child inside.

I'm from the Left of politics, the Far Left, you might say, and I am very concerned about the "sunk cost fallacy" and it's effect on the Left of politics surrounding the issue of transgenderism. I'm disgusted at how they are such ideologues on this issue that they are silencing those who have been chewed up, maimed, and spat out of the transgender machine. Neither science nor empathy has any effect on this almost messianic ideology. It has become so important to them that it far outweighs both women and children's rights, and the critical problem of climate change. Do they care about people's rights, or not ? If so, they MUST listen to people like Ritchie Herron!

For some reason this makes me think of Elon Musk, and how he has been savaged, really, by the political Left ( I am politically Left) simply for feeling grief for being pressured into agreeing to gender transitioning of his possibly autistic son, into a "female" form. I've been so disappointed by the cultish cruelty that has hijacked the Left of politics, in the gender ideology.

Andrew sees it exactly like I do, when he says that trans that think they are women see women like white racists saw Black people, as "silly" beings, and put on the equivalent of Black-face to imitate them. As soon as Black people began to have more rights the phenomenon of Black-face, and how it ridiculed and demeaned Black people, began, as a coping method for the white people. Similarly, trans pretending to be women are coping with their loss of power as men over women.

@jamesclark6487 Not all communities have leaders. Some are egalitarian, and gender non-conforming lesbians are egalitarian. A central part of why they are who they are is because they utterly reject "power from above," as it manifests itself in patriarchy, and that is why they are egalitarian, and have no "leader."

And if they are manipulated by people they have a right to trust, and they make a fatal choice that results in them being sexually abused is it "all on them and nobody else"? I say this because cutting off someones genitalia, or sewing on a fake penis, is sexual abuse, let's be frank about it.

Absolutely! The images of "female" and of "male" in popular culture have become so extreme as to be almost caricatures. They are so extreme as to engender disgust in young pure children's consciousness. No wonder they want to put the brakes on and stop becoming those travesties of what people really are. They are afraid of losing themselves, their personalities, their individuality. I'll be who I want to be, they think, but unfortunately popular culture has only presented them with the other sexualised gender role to fall back on.

It never ceases to amaze me that men who "transition" to become (it's always "girls,'" not women) somehow believe they actually look like real girls afterwards. With the most passing glance I can see they are males. "Ava" looks like a clown rendition of a girl.

Did she ever take testosterone? Because her voice is still very feminine, and I know the voice is one of the first things to change.

@CharlieBentley-Astor Hi Charlie! Thanks for replying. My niece took testosterone and her voice changed quickly, which I personally grieve for, because she had a beautiful singing voice. I've always suspected that some awful male traumatised her when she was a young teen, as she seemed to reject her natural feminine beauty all of a sudden. You remind me of her very much. All the best to you, and thank-you for raising topics such as the effect of early sexualisation of children on transgenderism. P.s. Luckily my niece turned back before she had any surgeries, and I am very grateful for that.
