  2. France has nuclear power, and French electricity costs are double Australian costs, with all our solar. Also, French nuclear power stations are constantly being shut down for costly repairs, such as to cracks at welds, to keep them safe. Those shut-downs are very costly. It looks like nuclear plants aren't so indestructible after all. Don't believe me? Go check.
