  3. Everything in this story is absolutely true. Look after your strength, balance and mind as much as you can, people. And remember, there are so many systems and inventions in place to help you these days. Fall alarms, reminder apps, paying bills online, online grocery shopping, YouTube channels with exercise programs to help elders maintain their mobility, hearing aids, electric tricycles to replace your vehicle if your licence gets taken away, toilets that wash wash and dry you...the list goes on and on. Whatever you do, maintain your independence. And go to bed early and get up and go for a walk.

  4. I'm so happy you escaped! You're right, "rehab" is how the medical system usually manipulates and pressures the elderly into nursing homes.
