I'm a Western feminist, and I believe her utterly. I can hear it in her voice.

@Therebelliousprince001 They know, but doesn't make it any less horrifying that women are stooping to this. Even if they are from the Israeli regime.

@JamesTemplar-mn3pk There is a big difference in the sound of even accomplished acting and the sound of real suffering. You must have a deficit in sensitivity if you can't hear this obvious difference.
20
Fortifier1021 You obviously know nothing about feminism.
12
@JamesTemplar-mn3pk No there isn't. You're tone deaf.
9
@WantToKnow-b1c Yes it certainly is. Nazi women guards were often extremely inhumane, too.
9
@06 I'm very sorry to hear that happened to you. Actual physical, violent sexual assault by women is less than 10% of the sexual assaults perpetrated worldwide. I hope you can live well despite what they did to you.❤
8
Fortifier1021 I don't support violence towards or repression of women in any form, from any perpetrator. And I believe this woman's account: I can hear it in her voice.
6
@ThomasShelby-bt7mn There were many women in Gaza who resisted wearing niqabs and hijabs when Hamas came to power, they resisted. The female lawyers resisted using the law itself. Hamas has applied pressure upon women in Gaza to wear those items, it has not only been a choice as you imply.
5
Fortifier1021 Don't imply that sexual assault is lesbi'anism.
4
@ThomasShelby-bt7mn No, as a feminist she (illalima667)recognises that the hijab can be used by patriarchal culture to efface and dehumanise women, making it easier to trample over their individual human rights. This is the case both in countries where it is forced by the police, and in places where social pressure, even from other women, is applied to force women to comply with wearing niqab or hijab. Same goes for female genital mutilation.
4
@ThomasShelby-bt7mn I know about it, and I know very well that there is a lot of repressive sexism in your culture, and the men in particular are very loathe to speak of it. Violence towards women is a problem in Palestine, sadly, as it is elsewhere too.
4
@ier1021 So? Why should lesbianism bother you so much? Do women not like you?
3
@ThomasShelby-bt7mn I KNOW they were the most liberal. The women liked wearing their traditional, and also, some, modern, clothing. I heard many of them unhappy that Hamas WAS patrolling with their morality police, and even beating people in the street. So don't tell me I need to "know what I'm talking" about. I do. It is you who do not. That is a fact.
3
@ThomasShelby-bt7mn I do know exactly what I'm talking about, actually. And I never said the Palestinian women's clothes were not "modest." I know for a fact that Palestinian women are indeed very modest. There is a big difference between choosing modest clothing of your own accord, and being pressured into wearing a non-traditional item of clothing that effaces your identity. Go and look at pictures of what women in Palestine were wearing in the 1910s, 20s, 30s and you will not see hijab or niqab.
3
@ThomasShelby-bt7mn Don't get me wrong. I am not against Palestinians engaging in armed resistance to Israeli occupation. I think they have every right, and in fact a responsibility to the Palestinians, to do so, considering the violence of the Israeli occupation. Now why don't you "zip it, mate." You only know part f the full truth.

@Therebelliousprince001 Those statistics are the same across the entire world, no matter what organisation collects them, from the governments, to the police forces, to the humanitarian organisations, to the women's groups. They are from countries with widely varying attitudes towards men and women, towards rights and in varying cultures. They are not all in cahoots to hide the truth - to claim so only reveals your paranoid misogyny.
2
@illalima6670 Exactly.
2
@illalima6670 Hear! Hear!
2
@illalima6670 You're welcome, sister. ❤

@Levittchen4G Hear! Hear!

Just like the Nazis in Germany.

The Israeli women have been brainwashed for years.
1
@Therebelliousprince001 That is a falsehood. Men are way stronger than women; it just doesn't happen. Unwelcome sexual propositions happen, but violent sexual assaults by women upon men simply don't happen because the men have strength to defend themselves. Only about 3% of violent sexual assaults are perpetrated by women. Those are the facts which are found to be the case worldwide, in all cultures, and in all socioeconomic brackets. You are slyly trying to muddy the waters with deliberate falsehoods.
1
@ThomasShelby-bt7mn Feminist women, and non-feminist women alike from the West are marching and protesting in their millions for Palestine. We can't stop Joe Biden no matter how much we want to.
1
@Therebelliousprince001 I've encountered you before. You are a religious bigot and a sexist.
1
Fortifier1021 No they do not. Feminists do NOT support any violence towards, or repression of, women or children.
1
@ThomasShelby-bt7mn And I tell you. You are wrong. Men on horses patrolled the beaches, calling themselves "modesty police" and they did beat people, both men and women. You are tragically misinformed.
1
@deccadent1 I'd believe them before I'd believe the Israeli apartheid regime.
1
@o1881 I've heard that there are abusive nuns, and that nuns have been abused by priests. My mother was abused by a nun. Sexual repression can fertilise the growth of sexual abuse.
1
@potato6436 Why do you people laugh like jackasses, as if you've said something incredibly witty (at least in your own minds)?
1
@ridhamatri9447 How foolish of you.

@ridhamatri9447 Roll over, Fido.
