@MarcAllespach Banning protests doesn't "preserve the peace;" it protects the power structure. Big difference. Especially if the power structure is corrupted. Educate yourself before you post.

In fact, they threw him in prison for merely pointing out the humanity of Palestinians, and the dreams that Palestinian parents may have had for their children killed by Israel. An even worse indictment of Israel is that when he was temporarily released his students mobbed him and harrassed him mercilessly.

@MarcAllespach You are correct. In a country where protests are outlawed and suppressed by police "organised" as a private army for the corporate elites, the opinions of the people don't "matter" at all. Read "1984."
