@jussikankinen9409 The only reason women did that was because they weren't allowed to open a bank account without a male relative or husband as a guarantor, and most employers deposited wages into bank accounts. I spoke to a female taxi driver the other day who related how she had a violent husband, and tried for years to get a job so she could leave, but couldn't until she finally found an employer who agreed to pay her in cash. What sort of men want to hold women as economic hostages so they can serve them beer? Pathetic men, that's who.

@timspiker Well, although we are animals, and evolution wants us to survive to reproduce, we also have higher executive reasoning and can choose to overrule that basic drive. Furthermore, your thesis presupposes that we ought to make our progeny our prime reason for being, when clearly we can make them just part of it. As long as they have access to food, shelter, education and safety, they can almost look after themselves after about 8. And before that there is daycare, which does a damn good job, usually. Better than many parents are willing or able to do, anyway.

@timspiker I have a son I have raised to 15 by myself after a judge awarded me a 5 year no-contact protection order against his father 7 years ago. This year my son was put into mathematical methods due to his high maths grades. All without any help from his father, who was abusive to us both. But I don't exist for my son. He is a part of my life, not my sole reason for being. If anyone needs to learn a lesson in parenting it is the endless stream of deadbeat dads who abandon their kids rather than take any responsibility.

@WanderingPassports You don’t understand. Women have had it with that subservient role. It’s easier being a single parent than waiting on a man hand and foot. You lot are too lazy on the whole, and we don’t see the benefit in it compared to the cost anymore. We don’t care at all if you don’t pick us, we’ve found it easier without you. Of course, not all men are like that, but all the men who watch videos like this are not men we want in lives, weighing us down.
