  1. The greatest shame of Russia is how so many Russian mothers seem to love the lie of Russian superiority, and swaggering Putin, more than they love their own son's lives. It's truly pathetic.

  2.  @digitalbladeca  Until Putin's bloody invasion of Chechnya he was an unpopular candidate for president; his brutality there skyrocketed his popularity, and shot him to power. Russians also applauded Putin's annexation of Crimea. They aren't his innocent, duped victims at all; they are his enablers, and fans.
