Under international law, occupied people have the right to resist occupation. Controlling airspace, the ocean waters, and all land border crossings, as well as all ability to get visas (as the Israelis did/do over Gaza) is classified as occupation. All Hamas wanted was for Israel to give back all the illegal hostages they had taken (and labelled it "administrative detention"). Israelis are such hypocrites.
