On the basis of "allegations" from the country suspected by the International Court of Justice of possible genocide all these countries have decided to stop sending money to feed the starving, innocent child victims of the suspected genocidal state of Israel? This can ONLY be construed as widespread COMPLICITY in this genocide of children! Shame on you all! I am ashamed of my Prime Minister, Albanese. Very ashamed. Surely the lives of millions of innocent, starving child victims of genocide should come before an "allegation" of the "terrorist" bogeyman.

  2. It was an ALLEGATION cited by Israel, and obtained by torture, and thrown into the media on the eve of the ICJ finding Israel is likely committing GENOCIDE. UNRWA fired the 12 suspects straight away, simply on suspicion, and without investigation! UNRWA has tens of thousands of employees and they try to feed over a million children now. Why does the world want to be complicit in starving them? Do we believe that doing so will change the ICJ's findings? Force their hand? What is more important to us as humans: an unproven allegation of terrorism against 12 people (in an organisation of tens of thousands), and obtained by Israel through torture? Or keeping over a million starving children at grave risk of starving to death, alive? I vote to keep the starving children alive!

  12.  @moretac  It's perfectly obvious from the evidence provided by John Kennedy here. At 5 weeks the connections between peripheral nerves and the brain, necessary to experience pain, do not exist. My entire argument is a humanitarian one, resting on whether the foetus experiences pain during the procedure. I think that it is far too risky to skate so close to the time when a foetus develops those connections because it would be appalling if even one foetus felt that happening to them. Religion is irrelevant to my argument, and should be, as many people don't believe.
