I reckon the fat burning zone is the exercise zone in which you enjoy exercising the most, and are most likely to consistently exercise. Equally important is not suffering extreme exhaustion, which may cause you to avoid your exercise.

@CorwinFound More protein than needed is just converted into glucose anyway! It's funny how they think more protein makes more muscle. Anyway, good luck on your journey, too. I've been a runner for 40 years.🙂

@CorwinFound I am doing almost the identical same, with walking and running. I've found that eating plenty of fruit is giving me the most energy for running, as well as drinking lots of water.

@xx-no3le It doesn't matter what the source of the protein is if it is in excess of need it will be turned into glucose in the body nevertheless. That is irrefutable.

Stop eating saturated fat, excess salt, and calcium supplements without vitamin k. Exercise alone won't protect you from heart disease.
