@NoidoDev Energy storage has been factored into the latest calculations, and even with storage the cost of wind and solar is significantly cheaper than the alternatives, (except hydro), which will be unreliable anyway as climate change dries up more and more watercourses. Thorium is a pipe dream. You've got to face reality someday.

@MrMichaelLundberg How convenient to your narrative that all the problems you cited are easily solved with the incorporation of windmills, which have been around for centuries, by the way, causing no damage to the environment - unlike nuclear energy.

@MrMichaelLundberg I'm perfectly up to date. It's you who refuse to accept up to date costings for wind, solar, battery arrays, and are clinging to an idea (nuclear energy) that had its heyday in the 1950s.

I predicted global warming and the consequent warming of water would be a problem for nuclear plants. Similarly, the world shouldn't rely too much on hydro generation, either, as river after river is dwindling and drying. Wind, solar and battery arrays are the only reliable future energy sources.
