What a rude shock these people will get one day when they are forced to acknowledge what they have allowed to happen through their lackadaisical political irresponsibility.

@johnwayne8494 He looked like he knew he was risking his life to say what he thought, but he was willing to call Putin's regime criminals, anyway. I saw pain in his eyes for what Putin is doing to Russia and Ukraine and all their peoples, too.
143
@johndenver8907 He was afraid, but brave. Big Brother is watching them, in Russia.
82
@johnwayne8494 Well, I've been watching this channel for a long time, and they all look different to me.
38
@CCPJerBear Especially since they have become allied with Iran and are buying weapons from Nth Korea.
23
@SteveSmith-oi2xz That's exactly right.
20
@Sedobr Have you seen how the French people react when their government tries to lord it over them and do something they don't like? - (it's in the news right now). You Russians need to take a leaf out of their book. They didn't give up after their Revolution.
20
The hubris, not the "courage."
9
@oselish Yeah - the Russians are prepared to submit to serfdom, while the French demand Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity. That's the difference.
7
Wow! That first guy has had enough of the criminals holding Russia hostage. I hope he lives to see a free Russia.
6
The generation who avoided all war and lived through a long prosperous period, telling young people to die for a corrupt tyrant.
5
Terrifying, comical, hopeless and absurd... A perfect summary.
4
The young ones aren't apathetic or scared, they simply have a total lack of human sympathy.
4
@freedomwhenneeded I haven't seen him inserting his opinions.
4
All but one who lived in the USSR preferred it and said it was better, and people were happier. I especially found it interesting how they mentioned the free university education and health care, and the high employment, better food, and more cooperation and care between people. I remember seeing a documentary, once, about how native reindeer herding people were driven from their lands after the collapse of the USSR, too. Perhaps capitalism isn't better in every way, as we are programmed to believe...
3
I love Vasya in the hay. And 1420!
3
The young ones don't give a damn about anyone but themselves, and the old ones seem to already have maggots for brains.
3
46 Yes; 32 No Comment; 22 No: In other words - 46 Yes; 54 No. Pretty sad, overall, considering the slaughter in Ukraine.
2
There must be something seriously wrong with the education system in Russia.
2
Putin's greatest victory has been over the mental independence and citizenship engagement of the Russian people.
2
That's right, he established the mines there.
2
@usrgit Is that an attempt at wit? It failed. Miserably.
2
@zachhi89 I agree.
2
You are fabulous! ...but it's sad that only those young Russians with sociology degrees seem to comprehend or care about what is happening in their country.
2
Russians have got to lay off the excessive drinking and smoking if they want to live longer. Also, Russia does very little for the elderly, and its hospital/medical system is pitiful, falling backwards ever since Putin came to power.
2
All Russians seem to do is "obey" Putin, they are the opposite of "independent." I couldn't believe my ears when I heard the last man's comment. Talk about repressed desires, and a slip of the tongue.
2
@oleopathic My thoughts, exactly.
2
@АлександрДухин-р3ц Putin better stay in Russia or they'll clap him in irons, like Milosovich.
2
Beats me, but I didn't know that Russia "battled against most of the world and Europe" in WW11.... I always thought Russia was allied with most of the world (including USA) and Europe against Germany.... Did I miss something?
2
Well, as I've watched this channel for a while I know that so many Russians hate Europe and America that I think it is a wise move to stop an influx of them into Europe.
2
In Australia and America a lot of rural people are pretty stupid, too. It's quite common nearly everywhere. That baby boom generation is pretty dumb, also. It's disgusting how the women of Russia are so eager to sacrifice their sons for Putin.
1
Seeing as they have no say, or choice in the matter I suppose they have decided to tell themselves it isn't so bad. Just like women in abusive relationships lie to themselves, often until they are strangled to death, or beaten to within an inch of their lives. Even then, many of those who survive are so lacking in clarity of what is right and wrong, that they stay with the abuser. The whole Russian population is in an abusive relationship with a leader who uses power and control to maintain his tyranny. No wonder so many lie to themselves about it; where can they go for help - unless they leave the country?
1
I used to think that you could tell if someone was intelligent or an idiot by looking at them, but these videos have made me reassess that belief; you really can't tell at all.
1
@ZhenYae Teens read classics in high school English in the West, actually. As for Russia, I saw a video on YouTube of a Russian being arrested there for holding up a bit of cardboard with the title "War and Peace" - which title you should recognise, if you've read the classics - in protest of the war on Ukraine. That's how much Russia respects the content of the classics.
1
I like the 10th person, she seemed like a woman I could relate to.
1
It always strikes me as pathetic how so many Russians claim to be so far removed, so above, the scheming manipulations of politics, and on another, somehow superior, plane; as if they don't even realise they are deeply enmeshed in a power structure that controls their lives in myriad unavoidable ways. They are so naive and irresponsible, like children or childish teenagers (not that all teenagers are childish).
1
That's because Putin is running a massive, corrupt, protection racket.
1
Wow...how ridiculous and pathetic.
1
True.
1
@foilcap I'll listen to them speak for themselves, thanks, as they were there and lived it.
1
@PijusONLINE It was obvious they meant what they said.
1
@foilcap I think unchecked capitalism is just a way for rich criminals to try and turn people back into serfs.
1
Beautiful young woman; she had a skewed, unfocused eye, but her brain was clear and focused.
1
@oleh_1337 NO HE DOES NOT.
1
@usrgit Navalny is not corrupt like Putin; he exposes corruption.
1
@usrgit What rubbish. Putin has started several wars of aggression, condoned torture and mass kidnapping, and has robbed billions from his own people. Navalny hasn't even been in power, so how could you say he has done any of those things? Answer: You can't.
1
@usrgit Navalny recently penned an article from prison for The Washington Post in which he condemns Putin's "imperial authoritarianism," and he publicly supports a proper, democratically run referendum there, rather than the fake one they had. Meanwhile, his chief of staff has recently come out and said that Crimea belongs to Ukraine.
1
@usrgit Yes, but Putin is NOT Navalny.
1
@usrgit At no point did Navalny say Crimea "was Russia." What he did say was that Crimea was not like a sandwich to be handed between those who want a bite. Instead, it was entitled, in his opinion, to a genuine, uncorrupted, referendum. As Crimea, like the rest of Ukraine, originally voted to be independent of Russia in the 1990's, they would likely vote the same way in an unrigged referendum, and Navalny knows it.
1
Good idea.
