@Sedobr Have you seen how the French people react when their government tries to lord it over them and do something they don't like? - (it's in the news right now). You Russians need to take a leaf out of their book. They didn't give up after their Revolution.

@oselish Yeah - the Russians are prepared to submit to serfdom, while the French demand Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity. That's the difference.

@Sedobr If you are a Russian I have one thing to say to you: why do Russians keep running back into serfdom? The people in other countries managed to get out and never lay back down under the boot. Have some pride, and stop blaming it all on others. As long as most Russians have bread and milk and sausage and vodka they don't care about anything.

@eden17_10 Russians were, in effect, serfs under Stalin; he was a dictator in actuality, not a communist leader. Communism was just his cover story. As for 1991 being a revolution, look how long it took before another dictator slithered his way into power, and he has remained there ever since, and the Russians just shrug, and say they aren't interested in politics, while he siphons off Russia's wealth and hides it overseas. A real patriot, your dear leader, Putin.

@Mike-vd2qt And he didn't last long. When he manages to stay in power for decades while poisoning, shooting, or having his rivals shoved out of windows, get back to me.

@DarlyaFaroeste It sure is bad there. But it's just as bad, if not worse, for poor people and ill people in Russia.

@iiiiii707 True, but the French didn't just passively accept whatever the government attempted without their mandate, and Macron can be voted out - unlike Putin, who murders and imprisons his potential political rivals.
