I'm 55 and I have a little son of 13 who I love very much. I saw this coming decades ago, and I can't believe humanity's stupidity. What the hell are the leaders doing? I love our beautiful Earth, and it will suffer along with humanity. It makes me so sad.

There was no other food up there to eat other than seals and whales and fish. No plant foods grow there. But you seem to have missed the point about the depletion of habitat and food for the animals themselves, not only the humans that hunt them.

And rising temperatures in North Queensland have made it unbearable to live without air conditioning, already.

@Seawitch907 Wow, it sounds like a setting for a Steven King novel.

@Seawitch907 There is nothing so wonderful as a vast forest. 🙂

And others will boil to death in Australia.

Melting up in the Arctic is sending fresh water into the ocean which is effecting the great ocean currents that circulate the globe and regulate Earth's ocean and air temperatures and, consequently, weather patterns. Not only that, but scientists studying the Thwaites glacier in Antarctica say it is melting from underneath as warm ocean currents have changed course to flow in under it, and it is losing its grip on the rock that holds it in place. They say networks of cracks are spreading. It is happening much faster than they predicted, and they are saying it might break up within 5 years. If it does, the land ice sheets behind it will have nothing to hold them back, and they too will accelerate their slide to the ocean...

Hear! Hear!

FINALLY! Someone from TYT is talking about CLIMATE CHANGE - THE BIGGEST STORY IN HUMAN HISTORY! Forget the navel gazing, and LOOK UP!
2
I hear you. The methane bubbling up from the Siberian seabed is also a big worry, as is the wobbly AMOC, and the extreme floods and droughts decimating world crops so often, driving up food prices. Already. And the near depletion of many of the world's aquifers as we pump them dry... I feel so sorry for the people, animals and plants of the future.

@spiderpickle3255 😂👍

I'm an Australian, and believe it or not, I've often thought how you Canadians are sitting ducks for marauding Americans when climate change really heats up.

❤

I predict it will happen by 2027.

Are they not putting in any offshore windmills or electric car charging stations?

Thanks to Joe Manchin and Kirsten Sinema.

You poor thing. Losing all hope is devastating, and superficial laughter doesn't help at all, despite the bluff.

Actually, climate studies show that we were in the beginning centuries of an Ice Age when we made the Industrial Revolution, which put an END to it. For 800, 000 years atmospheric CO2 oscillated between 200 and 280 ppm, but after the Industrial Revolution it rose (and then shot straight up since the 1950's) until it is now over 420 ppm, and rising faster than it has ever risen.

@fishkeepingfreak I think the time is fast approaching when there will be so many claims that premiums will have to rise so much that most people won't be able to afford them. Then insurance as an industry might collapse. What do you think?

@abelis644 🙏Peace.

@MiniatureMashUp Goats make deserts, too.

And certain temperatures.

They'll just move to their hide-outs in New Zealand.

Actually, Earth was in the entry phase of an Ice Age before we had the Industrial Revolution - which put an END to it. If we keep burning up all the remaining fossil fuels we will end up with a temperature hundreds of times hotter than Earth has known since life began. It would take hundreds of thousands of years for Earth to cool down to a temperature that would sustain life anywhere near as prolific as now, if indeed it still had the systems to do so. You are living in a fools paradise.

Yes.

@jaysea1553 That person is a religious nut, there's no point talking sense to a person that sees sense as the enemy of faith.
1
if your claim is true you must be the most frustrated person in the history of humanity.

@spiderpickle3255 Exactly. If I hear those inane points (I won't deign to call them arguments) again, I might melt down.
