  1. It really did get noticed by the press, and mentioned in their stories. It takes a lot to get them off the Trump or Putin stories at the moment. The press, and public, need to realise that we are all at risk of extinction. At the rate we are heating the atmosphere at NOW the flooding of all major coastal cities is already locked in. Why does it take an informed, and therefor desperate young person doing this - and consequently being imprisoned - for the press to even mention climate change? Let alone report the scientific reality I just mentioned? I am a trained artist, and Van Gogh is my favourite painter. It was protected by glass, and the activists knew it.
