  1. Actually, they have been proven to all be radical pro-war activists. One is even a propaganda film-maker. Meanwhile, the real mothers group protesting about how their sons and husbands are being treated was not invited, and in fact is being constantly followed and surveilled by the FSB. That's how "sympathetic" Putin is to grieving mothers.

  2. The cause of it all is Putin invading Ukraine. Without that move, all else that has followed wouldn't have happened. Blame Putin.
