Comments by "ElephantInTheRoom " (@elephantintheroom5678) on "IDF takes CNN to tunnel shaft near Gaza hospital. What we saw" video.
It is actually a Utility Tunnel common beneath many large hospitals, especially where the water table is high. Al Shifa Hospital is only 500 metres from the Mediterranean Sea coast.

They always go in in darkness, and "We weren't allowed to enter the tunnel." Why? Because it is just a Utility tunnel like that under most hospitals. Utility tunnels are often built where the water table is too high to safely bury utilities: Al Shifa is only 500 metres from the Mediterranean Sea.

@teetee4769 That door is somewhere else, not at Al Shifa. If it was there, the IDF would have fallen over themselves to show it to CNN, instead of refusing to let them go down and see it.

@noamkoren7390 If that door was actually down there the IDF would have fallen over themselves to show it to CNN. Instead, they refused to let them go down and see if it was really there.

That is a UTILITY TUNNEL shaft which is built under most large hospitals. Google Utility Tunnel: on Wikipedia you will see a section on Industrial, Institutional and Municipal Environments, which states: "Utility tunnels are often installed in large industrial plants, as well as large institutions such as universities, hospitals, research labs, and other facilities managed in common." "They are also built in places where the water table is too high to bury water and sewer mains," Al Shifa Hospital is only 500 metres from the Mediterranean Sea coast.

@malinericson4065 I suppose you've never heard of planted evidence? I'm surprised, with an overactive imagination like yours.

@piccalillipit9211 Has it escaped you that the ONLY thing that CNN was shown is the actual shaft into the ground, and that it DID have cables and pipes clearly visible, that looks exactly like a utility shaft? They didn't actually show CNN anything else. The tunnel in the rest of this video, as you say, has no cables, so the conclusion is that the tunnel in the video does not belong to the actual shaft CNN were shown. Not much of a detective, are you?

@martinlascett5370 Hang on; ISRAEL has been broadcasting ridiculous propaganda videos of a multi-storey command centre, with lighting and so on, beneath the hospital. So far, the only verified thing we've been shown is a utility shaft, with pipes and cables clearly visible descending into the ground. The rest is likely fabricated, as they refused CNN access. So, WHERE IS THE MULTI-STOREY COMMAND CENTRE?

@inesdamonteines3985 "Hiding" in corridors? I saw people bleeding in corridors. Besides, the shaft into the ground didn't look that wide. The other footage wasn't even of the same place, it was edited on. Furthermore, doctors from all over the world (from Medicine Sans Frontiers etc) have worked in Al Shifa for years, and they say that allegations of it being used as a Hamas command centre is absolutely false.

@SuperVALERock You have failed to comprehend that CNN was only shown a shaft into the ground, and that the shaft DID have pipes and cables clearly visible, as in a utility shaft. Google Utility shaft, and you will see images just like that CNN was shown. The rest of the video is fabricated with different footage, as they refused to show it to CNN, and it looks completely different to the shaft above.

@letXeqX I doubt it.

@letXeqX What - live propaganda... I fear for your mind.

@noamkoren7390 But they would be behind the "blast door." Funny that CNN weren't allowed to go down and see the "blast door" ...
