kissmyaxe531 Actually, you need to do your research. That commenter was right. Food inflation is rampant in Australia, the EU, the Uk and Africa. The inflation IS lowest in the US.

What this poll really proves is that US citizens are self absorbed navel gazers who never stop to look beyond their own shores to compare themselves to the rest of the world. Biden has actually saved you from the worst of what many of us in the rest of the world have had to suffer from inflation. Inflation is at 4.4 in the US, while it is at 6.8 in the UK, and 5.5 in Australia, and 5.3 in the EU. Thank Covid, war, and constant extreme weather events, due to climate change.

It's not Biden's fault. Food prices are upo in Australia (even worse than in the US, our inflation is much worse!), in the EU, in the UK, in Africa and in China. Food inflation is up because of Covid, fossil fuel inflation, war, and extreme weather events around the globe, due to climate change.

kissmyaxe531 You aren't making any sense, frankly. Your sentences are indecipherable.

@RobertL.Peters Well, whether you personally see worldwide economic conditions as relevant in a global economy couldn't be more irrelevant to the fact that worldwide inflation affects the U.S. economy, and U.S inflation. All you prove is that many Americans just haven't accepted the reality of the globalised economy caused by transnational companies that Republican presidents like Ronald Reagan and George Bush promoted. It was your Republican overlords that sold American industry out, and allowed American manufacturing to be based in China so they could pay workers less, and pay less taxes. Instead of facing facts like that, too many of you fall for slogans and culture wars designed to hoodwink you. Sad.

@marclewis1199 Yes, but that is a reflection of the global economy in a world of transnational corporations, NOT a consequence of Biden's policies, which have actually cushioned Americans from the worst effects of global inflation.

@johnsnow94 It was the policies of Reagan and Bush (Republicans), that allowed American manufacturing industries to move offshore to China to avoid paying fair wages and to pay less taxes. Republicans always set up the corporations to profit at the expense of Americans income and quality of life.
