  7.  @HammerStudioGames  Corruption is bad here (particularly around fossil fuels, the big banks, and the supermarket duopoly), but nothing like as bad as in the US. And we don't have a criminal billionaire leading an insurrection in our country. Nor do we have an entire party of muppets willing to shut down our government and our economy in order to blackmail the other half of politics voted in by the people.

  13. Cafestol and kahweol, two diterpene oils in unfiltered coffee, lead to raised cholesterol levels by suppressing the body's production of substances involved in cholesterol breakdown. As soon as I started filtering coffee, or using organic instant coffee, my "sky high" cholesterol levels ( I'm virtually a vegan) dropped down to low very quickly. This is well known in Europe. I don't know why American medical experts haven't caught on to this important point. It could save a lot of people from the side effects of statins.
