I'll tell you what happened: He opened his mouth and said that America was responsible for Russia's war of aggression on Ukraine: as if the Ukrainian people don't have a right to independence from the Russian dictatorship, as if the Revolution of Dignity in which they declared they wanted independence from Russian puppet government never happened at all. That implies that many of the countries who asked to be in NATO (and were accepted,) have no right to be in a defensive alliance against their former overlords in Russia, either. His position is that only super powers have rights to choose self determination, and that small countries are just the territorial property of those super power nations. That's a reprehensible view.
