  1. Sure the 'trad-wife' is essentially based on being a farmers wife. The wife had various household and garden duties, while the Farmer was out in the fields, and doing herding and animal matters. But they, and their extended family where still living in a group like setting, with a total alignment of tasks, and the shared project of the farm. The 'Trad-wife' is where you take the farmers wife out of the farm and put her in a little square house, and make the husband drive miles away to do a job that has no relation to his and her home life.

Its interesting that they say that covid allowing people to work from home is actually better and fights atomisation - In my opinion and experience, that actually increased atomisation because people are alone in their rooms, and not socialising in work, and work-adjacent events. However, I suppose that just shows that work has become the main social troughline of their lives, and with (often) no family structure waiting for them at home, if the work life is taken away, many people are left with nothing.

  3. The corporate family is basically just a tribe that does agriculture. And then slightly later in history, we might have a slight advancement of some tribes who all do non-agricultural crafts.
