In all seriousness, the reason these terms exist is because some transmen (biofemales who feel their gender is masculine) have, for instance, given birth yet do not identify as a woman, and therefore do not wish to be refered to as the babies 'mother'. I think they are perfectly valid to use different terms (like 'birthing parent' rather than 'mother'). The problem arises when some trans-activists (I question how many actual trans people are pushing this) want to cater to that exceptionally small minority and have adopted gender-neutral language. Its not the fact that some use gender-neutral terms, its that somen try to replace female-vocabulary entirely with gender neutral terms.
