'Gender' is an invented concept that each person has an intangible unmeasurable, unfalisfiable sense of gendersoul, that defines who we are, and can sometimes appear in the opposite sexed body. This idea is not scientific, it is religious. JKR and other gender-critical people believe there are two sexes, and nobodies internal religious beliefs about gender-soul actually change the realities of sex category.
