  1. I have wondered about Mayhars background. I accapt that one level, the child of a refugee has british status. But IMO the identity of such a person is more complex. British-iranian, British culturally with iranian heritage, or british citizen with iranian heritage , seems more accurate, and deliniates 1st generation migrants from ancestrally british people.
