  1. There is a russian guy named Alexey Safronov, who is analyzing USSR's planned economy experience and issues in detail currently. Very interesting and insightful stuff. Economy is a basis and the main reason USSR ultimately collapsed was unresolved issues with the economy.

  2. I got a feeling there is some idealization of the past community life. As if opressing conformity to the local community was not a thing, as your survival pretty much dependent on it.

  3. Left tuber suggests socially active religious worship? That's surprising to me. Aren't most lefts supposedly scientifically minded, hence atheistic? Alighty then, signing up for a local Midsommar camp! But seriously though, isn't left ideaism a kind of religion already?
