  7. Talking about internet going down the drain while at the same time promoting a largelly useless service for the most of the user base, with a pinch of false advertisement. VPN might be useful for circumventing network blocks, but it doesn't provide much privacy or security (most internet traffic is already encrypted in transit, and web sites track users by more sophisicated means than IP address). This is the postmodern reality of late stage capitalism.

  9. First an AI should be endowed with its own wants and need. Until then fears of AI taking over and destroying the world is a fever dream. AI will take over the world but it will be in banal and predictable ways, unlike your Hollywood tales. AI will just gradually replace humans in economy, humans will have nothing better to do than to die off en masse, collapsing the whole capitalism production paradigm, the remaining society will regress to previous economic states, like feudalism or worse.

  10. National Internet isolationism is going alright. China, for example, has a large experience in it already. Russia is following suit (tons of banned western sites and growing).
