  1. Sam is a PR figure. His business goal is to fuel the hype around AI and conseqently OpenAI as the top dog. Hence why we hear some dramatic statements from him. OpenAI profits from increased attention to AI market. you should take the things that business PR figures say with a grain of salt, because it's often manipulation (pure human manipulation, without the help of AI).
