BadReligion417 He is weak and that he says things you like quickly does not mean his arguments are good or that he is not just a scam artist selling spin you and your fellow drones like. The guy is the king of straw men, gish galloping and other dishonest tactics. Intelligence is not the prime requisite of his fans.

jake hensley The spin "white people" are being attacked on mass is base stupid. If you are buying into that trope you have been caught up in tribal nonsense and have just chosen a side instead of correctly disdaining it entirely.

Jason Lambert He purposely goes along with racist spin in his evaluation of what "he sees". Black on black crime, poor schools, single motherhood etc are all symptoms of an issue no one on the right or even among establishment democrats wants to address. Our failed drug war which has seen that community disproportionately sent to prison for offenses at a much higher than other groups who use drugs at the same rate. Our leaders have pushed economic and trade policy that has gutted the the jobs that once supported those communities impoverishing them as a further multiplier. The golden days cons might wax poetic about when single mothers were uncommon in that community tied to a time the fathers had jobs long since shipped overseas and there was no drug war. We are still over coming historic legacy of overt institutionalized racism which has been walked back but still manifests in reduced opportunity for the community in general. No jobs and limited opportunity leads to poorly funded schools and poor education. Couple that with a justice system that most often imprisons the poor breaking up families generationally impoverishing them and we get a a better idea of the roots of the problem. The stats are not in question with those who reject Ben's spin, the interpretation of what they mean is.

Werd Mann I do not agree and the right are and have been on the forefront of stepping on free speech only to have lost that battle. Even the president talks about stepping on protest as anti american and the idea the right is pro free speech is one that needs a vigorous defense before it is accepted as truth. That some on the left do not value free speech gets them labeled regressive and anti liberal. Those who would deny you free speech are acting like classical conservatives and are ignoring progressive principles while they do. The right is not so impugned.
