You are defending overt failures, it is a real bad look. These donut eating machines need to be told: DO YOUR FUCKING JOB, or get a new one. A cop that will not put their lives on the line for children against a single gunman is totally useless and needs to be replaced. We should probably revisit public access to weapons that pin a whole police department down and leave them cowering in fear while we are at it.
