The unrestrained bombing of woman and children by the tens of thousands has never been validated as acceptable by 'history' The cases we have in the past are the basis for war crimes laws we have since agreed to. Tell me, is isreal using human shields by embedding military bases in civilian infistructure? Of course not, all attacks on them are terror. You need to apply this standard evenly.
