Medic1152 Please because your book says it is great does not mean it is. Quit pretending everyone will ever agree with you because it is a pretty big delusion in a list of them you treasure.

Being crazy and buying nonsense is not an argument ... good luck with all that.

Sarah Scholl You see if hell was created for everyone who does not believe I will be in good company with the vast majority of humanity that has ever or will ever live. The idea that your imaginary friend is so vile as to punish anyone for the rational stance of not believing in him means he should be opposed and worshiped by no one of good conscience. That you are so afraid of the bogeyman sold to you that you do not only bow before it you sell it as good when it can be nothing of the kind if what you claim is right. If you are correct, you side with an evil that loves ignorance and blind obedience who would eternally punish anyone who questions the manifestly weak way he validates his existence on earth. If you are wrong then you are wallowing ignorance and threatening strangers for nothing. I see you as being in a no win situation. It makes you either as sycophant or a fool, nice options there.

Disingenuous like calling anyone who disagrees with your spin regressive when it does not apply in any form. You guys promoted the misuse of that term by trolls who are often hiding regressive views themselves and do not even understand what it means.

The segments of the left they whine about are not large and are not the driving force of the movement. It is easy to dismiss clowns who promote safe spaces and trigger warnings without throwing out everything you believe and give voice to disingenuous right wing spin that paints everyone left of them as the same failure.

This is a stupid talking point that speaks to how lost in a world of ignorant talking points you are. Protest is legle in the US and bailing out protesters who committed no violence one agrees with is in no way a crime. When you pretend she did something wrong even as you wave away an open incitement to actual insurectionists you look simple or dishonest.

@crottmann9662 White Flag? Communists? Jesus Christ, you do not honestly believe that bullshit right?

Because we pay for the product, without a market there is no point in making things. They are rich because they are the ultimate winners at the top of the system built on our spending. I do not ever to expect them to share anything with us, please do not mistake me for a trickle down supporter. The fact is innovations of every type that took away jobs have have always felt resistance. I argue that things would change but we would adapt like when ditch diggers were replaced with steam shovels.

Eye hand coordination was the back bone of industry at the turn of the century but as technology has progressed jobs have been shifting away from that focus for a long time. We still need to have employed people or the system as we understand it today will totally collapse and no amount of robot workers can stop that truth. Personally I would like to see a day that where humanity is not employed in back breaking or tedious effort and automation is an absolutely necessary step toward that goal.

They still need a market to sell to, there has to be a constituency that will continue exist. The people it will hurt is the developing markets that they already draw super cheap labor from and they will take the brunt of this development. Advances that take jobs away from people, ie. the Steam Shovel, the assembly line etc. have typically been the type of repetitive jobs that no one really misses a decade or two out from the innovation. The tedious jobs they can do are better in the past anyway
