I expect to have to fight the DNC day one! Any democratic voter that wants real change has to.

Silly, he is the only reason the progressive community has a path forward to any kind of power. Ignoring that truth is service to stasis.

@dinopanteloukas6868 Am not rank and file anything. I am not going back to sleep and I am not going to let those around me do it either. We are building the movement and taking dem voters and changing the way we think is part of that process.

@jstreets1983 That is stupid spin if you care about progressive causes at all. I honestly get it if you can not vote for Joe. But then I think ALL voter shaming is idiotic as it both useless and counter productive including your not so subtle brand. Your spin is little more effective than Hillarie's. I think Biden is a wasteland, useless and actually hostile to progressive interests. That being said of the two choices he is the best one for any progressive to oppose because half his base in our camp while NONE of trumps is. Voting for Biden in my case is a tactical choice because we simply can not afford another 4 years of Trump. If you care about progressive ideals at all Biden is the president you want to oppose, this is not a complex idea for me. As you take this spin over what amounts to petulant anger about Bernie you have bought nonsense from factions that never wanted him to win in the first place and undermines the gains we have made. No worries he is not running for president again anyway, relax.

@jstreets1983 Well it is, hillary did not consider it voter shaming either. She was wrong too. He has lied about nothing, your spin is the spin of a dishonest media element who always were against Bernie.

@jstreets1983 Your standard what ever it is has no value to me. I am not blindly following anyone but I am not hating the only American leader in modern history to give us a path from innate corruption either. That he supports Biden over Trump is a no brainer and anyone that says it is not never valued what Bernie was doing anyway. I see your spin as entirely valueless unless you seeking to promote status and empower the groups you seem to be opposing. Do you but I could not disagree wit h your spin more even as we should ostensibly agree on a great deal.

@-Thunder He also promised to build a wall (and have Mexico pay for it), give us universal health care, pull out of Iraq, end nafta when he basically renegotiated the same deal with no meaningful change while including provisions he pretended to oppose in TPP, Etc, etc. Trump is a hard fail on almost every metric or promise he mad. Ignoring that truth does not make it go away. He did nothing with big pharma and they are ripping us even more than when he came in with 10 million fewer people with insurance. The changes to improve the VA were already in place before he took over and he did practically nothing to fix it.

@jstreets1983 You did not show me anything. Please find me an example of a politician that did not lie about anything. Your standard is bizarre and out of touch with reality.
1
@jstreets1983 You are the one that has a standard that he is a fail because of some asserted lie you did not share. Who do you support that does not lie? Just interested. You have a perspective that is different than mine I would like to understand. That is how those of us actually in favor of ideas communicate. Calling people crazy simply because they disagree with you is very very republican, good luck with that.

@Greendalewitch We are in full agreement Bernie was the spark. That he was not as aggressive as I would like does not negate his importance or what he has done that is no going away after him. I would have liked to have seen him push for more too, I would have liked him to fight harder in the primary. None of that changes the service he did us. I refuse to reject him as some who once supported him did because he did not put us across the finish line. I respect him for teaching a new way to run and showing us a path that will lead to our eventual victory.

@jstreets1983 I would assume we agree on something, but since you are acting evasive and not sharing what you think other vitriolic tirades on Bernie I may be wrong. I am cool with that, it me costs little to extend someone the benefit of the doubt until they no longer deserve it. Attacking me for imagining you might have a point under your silly spin or a honest basis for your thoughts is a mistake you seem pretty happy you are correcting me on. Good for you!

@jstreets1983 You say nothing that is relevant anyway and are not interested in actual conversations. Your attempt to frame the conversation dishonestly is noted. If you can not defend your own arbitrary selectively applied standards like rejecting liars you are empty in your criticism. You have betrayed what you are and it is clear for anyone who reads the thread to see it.
