  5. The right is all victim all the time, they complain about imaginary attacks and invented slights like they are a marginalized community and not the strongest supporters of a static establishment narrative. Listen to trump talk for a few minutes and you will see him cry about something.

  6. Interesting take, I find it very intuitively cohesive with what we see around us. It explains that despite popular support for may progressive policies they are stall to the point of not happening. At some point I felt like progress was inevitable, I have come to see they have no intention of letting us improve our lot and our system is entirely captured and is not going to deeply change no matter who takes power.

  10. The key issue is the 'think tanks' already have the ear of govenment. The fact is most of 'credible' are mostly owned by the right beciase they are the best funded. The set of resources that fund 'experts" avaiable to the left are a drop in the bucket compared to facists we oppose. The existing established media apparatus promotes right wing spin and attacks lall ecionomic left wing ideas as socialist.

  11. It is not a thing in the US either, even in the US there is the same process to go through that you outline. The entire issue is nonsense fear mongering to sell straw man dooms day concern that is not even real. It is simply a way to manufacture fake outrage in a culture that is already predisposed to disliking a marginalized group who is misunderstood.
