So you suggest they should just spread it around? The chance you might be asymptomatic is the best reason to even wear a mask to protect others around you in enclosed areas. Masks have been used in this exact manner for over 100 years as a goto move when attempting to stop people from either contracting or spreading contagions. They have been widely used in asia to prevent the spread of flu's for decades in their highly dense cities. When wearing a mask I know for certain where the particles do not go. Into the mouths and mucus membranes of others around me. The best reason to wear one.

The migrant numbers are so low many industries that traditionally have relied on foreign workers are facing labour shortages.
