Not hos child he will not be paying child support anyway. As far as assets the partnership was still a partnership and needs to be disturbed equally at the end of it.

@queenkukiz we agree he should not be responsible for a child that is not his. No matter what he gets to keep what he brought into the relationship., Anything gained together at terminatination should be split no matter the reason for the split. These are the rules already in place, this protects men who stay or just want out too If you do not wish to pay spousal supoirt marry someone with thier own job and money. It not 1950 anymore and if you marry a dead beat you will have pay support just like she would if you stayed home and made no money.

@queenkukiz Not anymore, this was true even a decade ago but is far less the case today as woman have many more options than they did even in our recent past. The numbers matter now, in the current system you will not be expected to support anyone with thier own job and money. This is what actual equality looks like and what you point at is a legasy of the tradional court of the 60's and 70's which is ever less true today. Relationships end for many reasons, cheating is symptom of other problems which both parties have a hand in. I want the court to stay out of adjudicating the actons of adult reltaonships and focus on division of martial assets and ensuring both parents contribute to the rasing of children to minimize the need for state help. Take half time responsibliry for your children and you will not even pay child support these days when only a short time ago the woman would automatically get full custody.

The the option is do take 50/50 custody.. you do not have to pay her a dime then.
