I have a better experience. I had a patient agent for a picky buyer that did their own research and ended up winning a home from a private seller by working really hard on our behalf. They went above and beyond the call while taking the cut on commission. They proved themselves over and over and I would not have my home.without them. Sounds like your experience was nothing like mine.
7
You are incorrect, they have had rules like this forever.
5
@POVwithRC You are cool with oil industry subsidies, but seem to loath EV subsidies. No one cares what you dive, that you think you are somehow superior because of your choices is bizarre.
4
She says the word complicated a lot but it is not complicated, it is meant to facilitate pre clearance of people crossing the boarder. This is not crazy.
4
They have them. Most of the cases are unvaccinated and as the places open and restrictions are lifted people have been more likely to be exposed. This is not a complex idea.
4
If other provinces are to be expected to pick Alberta's slack then Alberta should be forced by said provinces to improve their covid policy to decrease transmissions.
4
Rebellion? Because you are afraid of medicine? Just pay the tax, hard to argue that is tyranny sparky.
4
@50centsTech Not based on health status, based on compliance with a free safe inoculation which if you do not get it costs us all more as you put the entire system at risk over your feelings.
4
You do not respect the 90% of people not afraid of medicine? Why do you expect respect back?
4
Should not be a shock, it is what conservative governments do every time they get in power. They have to find money for their buddies tax cuts.
4
A conservative, free market focused soliton
3
Really? What would that semantic difference be?
3
@curtisscott6946 If you are concerned about suicides attack that problem. You are part of crowd who never cared mental health before.
3
Broken far worse in Alberta, look who runs that province.
3
Broken by the government funding them, not management.
3
Health policy is not something you can opt out of, it never has been.
3
After 2 years you do not?
3
No, they will not. The rules are in place and you will have no grounds to sue. They are demanding the mandates to protect staff and customers. Your ever shrinking 20% of the population is being thrown under the bus by capitalism.
3
Well being there are already mandates for vaccinations in specific jobs your assertion rings hollow. Precedent is a pretty important thing in the legal system.
2
@dranderson6071 If you say so, it appears I have forgotten more about this subject than you have bothered to learn.
2
@ButcherKC They should change the funding model for roads so it applies to all vehicles. This by passes the problem.
2
@Jack Sprat Ya, I am interested in what you imagine the irrelevant distinction is.
2
@Jack Sprat From the hospital's perspective both these patients require the same level special care in so much as they are both covid positive. It literally does not matter if the patient has another concern on top of covid because the restrictions required are identical as long as the patient is covid positive As we discuss hospitalisation and covid, just having the virus puts everyone in a the same category as requiring special treatment and handling to protect staff and other non covid patients. For the hospital your attempted claim at a distinction does not amount to a difference as both patients require covid isolation and special care to treat no matter what they are in for. Reporting hospital numbers is not to make you think the virus is dangerous, it is to report on how full the hospitals are as a barometer to how stressed our health care system is. If we did it your way to make you feel better about the virus it would leave hospitals in the exact same place. Judging if they are so overrun with covid they are challenged to offer any other service or are running out of space has actual value to us all.
2
Let go of staff that will no inoculate, yes. They do not need paid vectors in a hospital that can not meet basic requirements of their job.
2
@billykidd5974 If you say so. I also do not feel bad for Mennonites who can not drive a bus because of their faith or vegans fired from a butcher shop for not wanting to sell meat. Do you?
2
@trollashnikovavtomat Simply entirely not true. The fact is this data is borne out world wide. The people who are unvaccinated are always more at risk. This fact is in stone despite your feels.
2
@SuperWolfkin lol, that will show them! Teach them real good.
2
That is not the way it works.
2
@samanthawasson6583 How are they radicals?
2
You can question it, but denying it over your feelings is idoicy.
2
The corporate wing of the party rejects that entirely, they have all the money.
2
At least you own what you are, that is more honest than most of these wanna be untrained doctors.
2
@idkwhatsmynamelol9281 Ya, nothing goes wrong in either of those regions. Sigh.
2
It is why that is all the anti-vaxers do. Data and science clearly has no value to them.
2
It is just another tax grab, I thought cons disliked extra taxes.
2
@leob4403 Ask me how many I have had so far before these ones, a lot. I am not sure what the quantity has do with anything.
2
@leob4403 We have had mandates for decades. This is nothing new outside it being an incentive for those who elect to forgo public health policy at the cost of the rest of us.
2
Hilarious, just because he told you to clean up your room and it worked does not mean he would be a good PM.
2
@dbook3765 I think that would be a better way to frame it, everyone vaxed gets a deduction others will not.
2
@mariuscopil9456 No helping the extra dopy. I am no fan of the government either but I am still connected to reality. Closing your eyes and curling into a ball solves nothing.
2
@edpeesker5087 We know they are often complicit with government failures, but in this case the system worked.
2
@99suspects Arrests, trials, jail time.
2
@roberjohnsmith Ya crazy seat belts and food safety rules, the rules around what constitutes a medicine what does not. Bah all useless nonsense .. right?
2
No more so than they ever have. Mandates are not new.
2
@dranderson6071 Likewise Doc
1
Has not been done, so no. No one freaked out when we did so in the past either.
1
@rigg4146 We should only be discussing events that require hospitalization, a broken arm does not require a hospital stay and would not be included in any count of covid hospitalizations. If you require intensive care and have covid it literally does not matter what you were admitted from a beds and resource perspective. You get the same isolation treatment a covid patient has. People talk about Covid in hospitals because it requires more resources to maintain and support the patient and additional stress for the medical professionals. I do not see the difference between a person in the hospital for covid and in the hospital with covid from the hospitals or from a space in the hospitals perspective. That most people in hospitals do not covid is not the slam dunk argument you think it is. We have so many people in the hospitals with covid that they have shut down normal procedures for lack of resources. Pretend that is not a thing, but it is.
1
@rigg4146 Despite your claim the numbers are largely accurate. People with minor symptoms are not being admitted. The concern from hospitals is about additional space and resources taken up by someone that is positive no matter what they are in for. You do know that you undermine your own point by pointing out hospitals are not literally not admitting the people with lessor symptoms you say are skewing the numbers right? Science is not your thing, no need need to start pretending it is now.
1
Proud parent of a future vectors. Keep them away from your parents for the next year or so.
1
@kubam9939 Is silly. Do you know how much extra it is going to cost? Why can't you afford it, what would it cost to not to enact it? Answers you do not have, this undermines your empty claim.
1
@humanactivated1017 So they make a lot of sense, who told you mask are useless? Surgeons would disagree!
1
What is dumb about it? That does these clowns do a poor job explaining it does not mean it is crazy. This is something already being done at air ports and is nothing new.
1
Never, the are one in the same. Most every Canadian is an immigrant at most a few generations removed.
1
Like every single state?
1
Taxes have not gone up there captain economics, you offend people with your ignorance every single day and no fall out for you.
1
They are far right on top of being afraid of medicine. They are not mutually exclusive.
1
There is a correlation .. check.
1
They do not have enough funding, the leadership that Alberta votes for ensures it. Giving these monster politicians a pass and blaming administrators is mindless.
1
Why do you think there are criminals to find as a result of a world wide pandemic?
1
@Mollycrimey Ah, do you think there is more or less evidence for that than you are out of touch with reality and are not a thought leader on any subject?
1
Why? It is literally full of fringe dwelling right wingers, it new identity issue they have latched onto.
1
What comes next for you? Where you going?
1
@samoday2992 On the first condo we bought they spent 9 months looking at least 3 or 4 properties a week until we found exactly what we wanted. On my house they went well above and beyond. First the location was well outside their standard market meaning significant travel time and a guaranteed low commission from non agent seller. On owners announced decision day they sat outside the house waiting to make a counter offer in case we did not win. He picked another purchaser and then in person offered a counter offer they won. We later had a need to push back the possession date a month and they paid for lawyers out of their own pocket to transfer the sale date to simply to make it more convenient for us. Not everyone has had your terrible experience, I did not. My agent is the only reason I own the house I do.
1
@samoday2992 The standard 1% asked for by non agent sellers, buddy paid them not me. On top they took a cut by paying for a lawyer to an agreed change of the deal after signing it. They were worth every nickle they costed me, nothing. Without them someone else got the deal, it was their experience and skill that won me my home.
1
@samoday2992 The seller pays them, have you ever bought a home?
1
@samoday2992 The seller pays 2.5 to their agent and the buyers agent. In my case buddy was his own agent and negotiated down to 1% to mine. Not complex. I paid 4.5% on my sale. 2% to my agent and 2.5% to theirs. Less value there but I am glad I had them.
1
@samoday2992 You are confused. I did buy one. I told you details of the story. Buying cost me no agency fees but then it never does. I paid 4.5% to sell mine. I could have found a buyer with a cheaper agent but I was eager to sell. I am cool with how much it cost as I still made out good on the deal. If this was my business I would be looking to shave points. It is not so chose to absorbe it as cost. I got better value by being professionally represented. I do understand that is not always the case.
1
@samoday2992 I bought a property with a realtor that cost me nothing because the seller pays. I later sold that property, paid commission (on the sale) and then bought my current house The only reason I own my current home is because of my agent. They got me a great deal from a private seller who screwed himself out of money trying to avoid commission. It is not always best to go agentless, I know in my case it was a win and buddy I bought from lost money that should have been his. When you buy without an agent the only person that saves money is the seller as they do not have to pay the commission. I guess you could ask them to kick it back to you on the price but they are not obliged to. It is a questionable move that puts you on the hook to dot the I's and cross the T's of the byzantine legality of the transaction all on your own. Doing so is definitely not for everyone.
1
Take it back? You and whose ignorant drooling army?
1
@funbigly Buddy is talking about taking Ontario back, from whom, and how if not by force?
1
@funbigly The use of "take it back" makes that option unlikely. The NDP never felt powerful even when they won that once a long time ago.
1
@funbigly Everyone has different perception skills. That you do not like something does nit mean it does not have some value.
1
@mikepurdue7472 Safe bet you vote for crooks. That you do not like health policy rules does not mean they do have value
1
These clowns attacking debt is code for a desire to cut social services to hand more tax cuts to billionaires and multi nationals.
1
@simonmasson-dupras3946 Only if not having a job overflows hospitals because it could be cured with a shot. None of these analogies you people are stuck on compare to this situation. They are only shutting things down becuase we have a class of npc that is overflowing the hospitals rusulting in the deaths of responsible. Shut downs are triggered by concerns of running out of hospital beds. Your ilk is the problem.
1
It is just another tax grab, I thought cons disliked extra taxes.
1
Yes a useless racket, until you get sick.
1
Because you are un-vaxed and your associates are overloading the province health system.
1
Until they start making light weight electrics and then you will change your tune.
1
@Sleveofwizard Give it a few mins, the tech is just being widely implemented now. Lighter Batteries with higher power density are already in the pipe. Mileage would be a smarter way to tax the cars usage, weight is the kind of stat that will change over time.
1
@soulpowerful These guys just think they will not pay it so they want the tax issued.
1
@Optimistprime. Trucks in general. Should big vehicles pay more?
1
They have the services, they will just be charged an extra tax. So the answer is NEVER.
1
Lol. Nonsense. Magical thinking, no one outside the cult will accept.
1
@tjhagarty700 None of those treatments are validated outside empty conjecture of you tube feeds. The have been new techniques and drugs implemented in covid care but the idea they are denying you useful drugs for some underhanded reason is total nonsense.
