@russellbaston1223 You are the one that chose to bring up Brazil and USA so do not shift the focus. Also: neighbouring countries is an irrelevant comparison when it comes to A: international travel. B: population density. You will find that the disease spreads very slowly in the national parks above the arctic circle, and very quickly in Stockholm and Sevilla.

@russellbaston1223 Still too many differences. Just bringing up neighbouring countries is still cherrypicking. At the end of the day, there are several countries with lockdowns that fared worse, and ironically, almost all countries are using the Swedish "model" now. As for economic activity, the unemployment figures are not too bad, and although bankruptcies have increased, most shop spaces are still rented. The show ain't over 'til the fat lady sings.
