Presence of goods in shops hardly mean anything, and your opinion about attractive and well-dressed is whacked. I am certain you would have found a fair amount of jewellery in the Warzaw Ghetto too, despite the presence of suffering people. It is capitalism, innit. @omarhabib4528 I have a vague recollection that this guy (?) posts something similar below all vids that show Palestinian street scenes. Always something akin to "hurr durr, they have cars, and shops, how can they have it bad". One can't actually treat dishonest participants as one would treat people with honour. As for the actual wealth of the population, it is enough to look at GDP PPP per capita. That is about 3K dollars, and diminishing. That does not offer anyone many luxury choices in life.

The dispossession and displacement of Palestinians from their homes is a crucial pillar of Israel’s apartheid system. Since its establishment the Israeli state has enforced massive and cruel land seizures against Palestinians, and continues to implement myriad laws and policies to force Palestinians into small enclaves. Settlements today cover 10% of the land in the West Bank, and some 38% of Palestinian land in East Jerusalem was expropriated between 1967 and 2017. Palestinian neighbourhoods in East Jerusalem are frequently targeted by settler organizations which, with the full backing of the Israeli government, work to displace Palestinian families and hand their homes to settlers. Look at how companies like Elbit get chased out of cities. See how EU has promised NOT to accept any changes to 1967 borders unless agreed to by all parties. See how EU regards the West Bank as an undeniably occupied territory. These are all indications of how EU views Israel.
